Holly jolly TV calendar

Daily highlights include classics, new additions

COREY MCMAKEN | The Journal Gazette

It's the most wonderful time of the year – if you're looking for Christmas programming, at least.

Thanks in part to the never-ending supply of romantic holiday stories on the Hallmark networks and family-friendly efforts like Freeform's 25 Days of Christmas schedule, there's always something to watch to get you in the holly jolly spirit. There are new specials and series to check out, and don't miss the annual classics featuring Rudolph, Frosty and George Bailey.

Many of the programs listed in this calendar will air repeatedly during the month ahead, but this list of at least one program each day through Christmas will help you get started with your viewing schedule. Not every new program is listed, but information has been included for a few of them on the date of their first broadcast.
