Summer Album 2018

COREY MCMAKEN | The Journal Gazette

Let’s hear it for summer! Not the season marked on the calendar between a solstice and equinox. No, let’s hear it for “summer,” the period between the weekends of Memorial Day and Labor Day that somehow seems more carefree.

It’s the time that we have fun in the sun – and in the shade. It’s the time we go to festivals and outdoor concerts and relax by the lake or stretch out on the grass. And this year, it was the time that we seemed to dodge raindrops almost as often as we weaved around road construction.

The Journal Gazette asked you to share pictures of your summer. Included here are some photos from readers and JG staff to remember the summer.
