Special events

• Faith Chapel, 3928 North Salem Road, Decatur, will have its annual Harvest Fest from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. today. Events include children's activities, bingo, lunch, a cake walk and auction.

• Pierceton Presbyterian Church, Pierceton, will have its annual Harvest Home Dinner from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. today. Cost is $9 adults, $5 children and $6 seniors.

• LWML Fort Wayne North Zone Rally will be from 9 to 11:30 a.m. today at Zion Lutheran Church, 101 E. North St., Columbia City. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. Speaker Deaconess Intern Carole Terkula will share her work with prison ministry at the Whitley County Jail. Cost is $6 and includes breakfast.

• Calvary United Methodist Church, 6301 Winchester Road, will have its Homecoming at 9:30 a.m. Sunday. A carry-in potluck will be at noon. The church will also have a Fall Bazaar from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 21.

• Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 9909 Wayne Trace, will have a rummage and bake sale from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. to noon Friday.

Special music

The First Church of God, 111 S. Oak St., Kendallville, will host New York-based music group Final Harvest at its 10 a.m. worship service Sunday. A freewill offering will be accepted.
