Special events

• Haven Missionary Christian Church, 845 W. Creighton Ave., will have a Valentine program, “What's Love Got to Do with It?,” from noon to 2 p.m. Feb. 10. Tickets are $10 each or $15 for a couple.

• Whitehorse Biker Church will have its Fire & Ice Chili Party from noon to 6 p.m. today at the Ohio City Community Building, 503 Lambert St., Van Wert, Ohio. There will be a chili cook-off and entries must be submitted by 1 p.m. on the day of the event. Event is free.


The University of Saint Francis, 2701 Spring St., will have “Josephine's Hope,” a nine-day event that will inform and involve the community in the fight against human trafficking. From Tuesday through Feb. 7, a prayer book, “Awaited by This Love,” will be available on campus for use in the chapel. On Tuesday, the movie, “I am Jane Doe,” will be shown at 6 p.m. in the Doermer Family Center for Health Sciences, followed by discussions. On Thursday at 7 p.m., the presentation “Hidden Predators: The State of Sex Trafficking in Fort Wayne,” will be at the Historic Women's Club, 826 Ewing St. A final discussion about the film and presentation will be Feb. 6 on campus.
