The Journal Gazette
A protest is planned from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at Sen. Todd Young's Fort Wayne office at the E. Ross Adair Federal Building, 1300 S. Harrison St., as part of nationwide demonstrations to pressure Republican senators to vote against the proposed GOP health care bill.
Organizers are also urging Young to hold a town hall meeting to address constituent concerns, according to a press release Sunday night.
Simultaneous demonstrations are planned at Young's offices in Indianapolis, Evansville and New Albany, the release said.
The actions are being coordinated by Indivisible Hoosiers, the statewide affiliate of the national Indivisible organization. Indivisible is a national political organization formed to resist the Trump agenda.
Another demonstration protesting the same bill is planned at the same location at noon Tuesday, according to the release. It is hosted by Liberation Movement Fort Wayne and United Activists of Fort Wayne.
