GreenStar Development LLC has purchased 77.5 acres at Indiana 37 and Interstate 469, a consultant confirmed Wednesday.

Tom Borne, CEO of Asher Agency, said GreenStar consists of commercial real estate broker Bill Cupp and Kyle Witwer, president of Witwer Construction Inc. The partners are “evaluating the best future use of the property,” Borne said.

Borne declined to say whether Indiana University Health is involved in developing the site.

IU Health has announced plans to invest in the Fort Wayne market, starting with an adult primary care facility on the city's southwest side. Riley Children's Health, which is under the IU Health umbrella, this month opened a pediatric specialty clinic on the city's north side.

In October, IU Health President and CEO Dennis Murphy said the two investments are a first step in a plan that will result in “really a substantial presence in Fort Wayne ... paced over time.” But officials have consistently declined to be more specific about their plans.
