JG Foundation Grants

The Journal Gazette Foundation recently approved $86,750 in grants to the following 13 nonprofit organizations, bringing the total grants paid out in 2019 to $223,550.

• Fort Wayne Rescue Mission Ministries, $25,000 for payment 3 of 4 supporting “The City on a Hill: Building Relocation and Expansion” capital campaign

• United Way of Allen County, $20,000 for second-quarter payment of 2019 pledge

• Harvester Homecoming, $10,000 for operating grant to support the historical awareness and preservation of International Harvester

• Community Harvest Food Bank, $6,000 for operating grant to support the Community Cupboard Food Pantry

• SCAN, $5,000 for operating grant to support the Family Preservation program

• Arts United of Greater Fort Wayne, $3,750 for second-quarter payment of 2019 pledge

• Community Transportation Network, $3,000 for operating grant to support the CTN transportation program

• The History Center, $3,000 for operating grant to support the Heritage Education Fund

• Fort Wayne Civic Theatre, $2,500 for operating grant to support the IN THE WINGS Arts-in-Education program

• Just Neighbors Interfaith Homeless Network, $2,500 for operating grant to assist the homeless

• The Literacy Alliance, $2,500 for operating grant to support literacy programming in Fort Wayne and Allen County

• NeighborLink Fort Wayne, $2,500 for operating grant to support vulnerable homeowners

• F.A.M.E., $1,000 for operating grant to support presenting the FAME festival
