A Fort Wayne man arrested last week in a raid that yielded bombs, 22 guns and drugs is now facing federal drug and gun charges.
Shawn Bacon, 37, was arrested Dec. 20 as Fort Wayne police and federal agents raided his High Street home. They found two bombs, guns – one was a stolen handgun – body armor and drugs estimated to be worth $100,000 on the street, court records said.
Drugs found included methamphetamine, heroin, crack cocaine, powder cocaine and marijuana. Scales, plastic bags, drug ledgers and other paperwork were found, according to court documents.
Bacon is charged in U.S. District Court in Fort Wayne with a long list of drug- and gun-related charges including possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, crack cocaine, cocaine, heroin, marijuana and Fentanyl, a powerful opioid drug.
