A man who robbed a Walgreens in February and took oxycodone pills before fleeing from police was sentenced to prison Wednesday.
Douglas W. Diemer, 52, was charged with robbery and resisting arrest.
Judge Fran Gull sentenced him in Allen Superior Court to four years in prison on the robbery charge and two years on the resisting charge. The sentences will be served together. Diemer also was given credit for 75 days spent in jail.
Diemer robbed the Walgreens store at State Boulevard and Wells Street.
