FBI serves morning warrant in city
MATTHEW LEBLANC | The Journal Gazette
Federal agents served a warrant early Wednesday in Fort Wayne.
News reports indicated the warrant was served by FBI agents at a home in the 600 block of West 4th Street about 6 a.m.
Ryan Holmes, a spokesman for U.S. Attorney Thomas L. Kirsch, confirmed a warrant was served but said he did not know the location. Holmes said he was aware of only one warrant served in the city Wednesday.
Officials at the FBI's Fort Wayne office referred calls to a spokeswoman with the bureau's Indianapolis office. Local police also referred calls to the Indianapolis office.
The FBI spokeswoman did not return calls seeking comment.
A search of federal and state court records Wednesday did not show charges for anyone arrested at that location.
