Missouri man faces local child porn charge

Rebecca S. Green | The Journal Gazette

A 35-year-old Missouri man is on his way to Fort Wayne, accused in a federal court document of enticing a 16-year-old northeast Indiana girl to send him pornographic pictures.

Timothy Gilmore used the microblogging site Tumblr, as well as messaging apps Kik and Snapchat, to communicate with the teen, who is identified only as "the Juvenile" in court documents.

He is charged with the sexual exploitation of a minor and activities related to material constituting child pornography. He knew the girl was 16 years old and planned for her to come and live with him when she turned 18, according to court documents.

The girl contacted Gilmore in January through the Tumblr page. After that, they began communicating using the messenging apps, as well as the telephone. He referred to himself in user names and email addresses as "Master T".

According to court documents, over the next six months, the girl, who Gilmore referred to as his "slave" or "slave Belle," sent him pictures of her performing various sex acts which he then posted on his Tumblr page. He talked about a desire to "breed" her so he could then train their children for future sexual slavery.

A woman who was an "unnamed conspirator" is mentioned in court documents. She ordered the teen to perform various sex acts and was referred to by the girl as "mistress."

According to court documents, the "unnamed conspirator" believed the girl was 18 years old.

Investigators with the Fort Wayne Police Department and the FBI found that the images sent between the girl and Gilmore met the definition of child pornography.

According to court documents, Gilmore also tried to purchase a slave for $1,200 from the United Kingdom.

Gilmore was arrested in Missouri on Tuesday and appears to be, according to records, in the Cape Girardeau County jail awaiting extradition to the Northern District of Indiana on the charges.

If he is convicted of the charges, he faces at least 15 years in prison, according to court documents.
