Felony report

The following people were charged with felonies in Allen Circuit and Superior courts. Misdemeanor charges are also listed if the person is charged with a felony.

Josue Perez, 19, of the 3400 block of South Barr Street, was charged Feb. 5 with domestic battery committed in the presence of a child. He was released on $2,500 bond.

Jarez Clark, 29, of the 3700 block of Reed Road, was charged Feb. 5 with operating a vehicle while intoxicated with a prior conviction and resisting law enforcement with a misdemeanor charge for driving while suspended. He was being held on $3,250 bond.

Nancy L. Sallot, 47, of the 6100 block of Belle Isle Lane, was charged Feb. 5 with domestic battery committed in the presence of a child and a misdemeanor charge for interference with the reporting of a crime. She was released on $2,500 bond.

James Demond Cummings, 43, of the 500 block of East Suttenfield Avenue, was charged Feb. 5 with resisting law enforcement using a vehicle to commit the offense. He was being held in lieu of $2,500 bail.

Lonnie Gardner Jr., 30, of the 5600 block of Bass Road, was charged Feb. 5 with possession of cocaine. He was remanded to federal prison.

Thomas K. Nowak, 55, was charged Feb. 5 with two counts of invasion of privacy. He was being held on $2,500 bail.

Emily Ford Showalter, 39, of Wabash, was charged Feb. 5 with burglary with a misdemeanor charge for criminal trespass. She was released on her own recognizance.

John R. Gustafson Jr., 38, of Traverse City, Michigan, was charged Feb. 6 with two counts of child solicitation, and two counts of sexual misconduct with a minor and dissemination of matter harmful to minors with two misdemeanor charges for contributing to the delinquency of a minor and voyeurism (peeping). He was released on $44,000 bond. There was a warrant for his arrest.

Shaunika S. Jones aka Shaunika Belcher, 34, of Stone Mountain, Georgia, was charged Feb. 6 with fraud on a financial institution and 14 counts of forgery. She was released on $45,000 bond. There was a warrant for her arrest.

Khalif M. Brown, 32, of the 8300 block of Lakeside Drive, was charged Feb. 6 with two counts of operating a vehicle while intoxicated with a prior conviction. He was released on $2,500 bond.

Joseph E. Byrley, 38, of Harrodsburg, Kentucky, was charged Feb. 6 with nonsupport of a dependent child. There was a warrant for his arrest.

Jamal Johnson, 19, of the 2100 block of St Marys Avenue, was charged Feb. 6 with receiving stolen auto parts with a misdemeanor charge for resisting law enforcement. He was being held in lieu of $10,750.

John Anthony Burd, 26, of Spencerville, was charged Feb. 6 with theft and unlawful possession of syringe with two misdemeanor charges for resisting law enforcement and one count for possession of paraphernalia. He was being held in lieu of $6,500 bail.

Thomas E. Baigent III, 28, of the 1600 block of Poinsette Drive, was charged Feb. 6 with two counts of identity deception. He was released on $5,000 bond. There was a warrant for his arrest.

Brianna A. Aldridge, 18, of Grand Rapids, Michigan, was charged Feb. 6 with auto theft. She was released on her own recognizance.

Carlton B. Farrie, 53, of the 2500 block of Evans Street, was charged Feb. 7 with possession of cocaine with two misdemeanor charges for driving while suspended and possession of marijuana. He was released on his own recognizance.

Kwyn D. Harley, 22, of the 1900 block of Maplecrest Road, was charged Feb. 7 with possession of marijuana with a prior drug offense. He was released on his own recognizance.

Michael D. Delong, 42, of New Haven, was charged Feb. 7 with two counts of theft. He was released on $2,500 bond.

Jacob Hamilton, 28, of Milford, was charged Feb. 7 with two counts of resisting law enforcement and receiving stolen auto parts. He was being held in lieu of $5,000 bail.

Timothy Eric Walker, 42, of the 2000 block of Phenie Street, was charged Feb. 7 with failure to register as a sex offender. He was released on $2,500 bond.

Sedrick J. Grandberry, 36, of the 7300 block of Decatur Road, was charged Feb. 7 with operating a vehicle after being a habitual traffic offender and possession of cocaine with two misdemeanor charges for operating a vehicle while intoxicated and other misdemeanor charges for possession of a synthetic drug and possession of a controlled substance. He was released on $5,000 bond.

Terrell A. Smith, 20, of the 7200 block of Dry Creek Court, was charged Feb. 7 with possession of a narcotic drug. He was released on his own recognizance, but is being held on another charge.

Matthew T. Pace, 36, of the 4900 block of Goshen Road, was charged Feb. 8 with two counts of operating a vehicle while intoxicated with a prior conviction and possession of methamphetamine. He was released on $2,500 bond. There is a warrant for his arrest.

Chad Michael Neilands, 26, of the 9200 block of Farmington Drive was charged Feb. 8 with unlawful possession of a syringe with a misdemeanor charge for possession of paraphernalia. He was released on his own recognizance. He is being held on another charge.
