A Whitley County man is behind bars after a four-month investigation and charged with child pornography and exploitation.

Christopher Aaron Davidsen, 44, was arrested after an investigation into peer-to-peer file sharing uncovered a large cache of child pornography in Davidsen's Columbia City home, Indiana State Police said Wednesday.

Investigators found more than 150 images and more than two dozen videos of child pornography on multiple electronic devices, state police said.

Multiple tips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children led to an investigation in late March.

Police encourage the public to report information on possible child exploitation to their local law enforcement agency or to the nearest state police post. Tips can also be reported to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children's Cyber Tipline at www.missingkids.com/CyberTipline or toll free at 800-843-5678.
