Fort Wayne police are looking for two men in connection with a carjacking on the city's northeast side.

According to police, around 6:30 p.m. Monday, the victim was getting out of his car in the 2600 block of Northgate Boulevard when a man wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with the hood up approached the victim with a gun and pulled him from the car.

The suspect patted down the victim, took his keys, phone and wallet and told him to walk away, police said.

The suspect then drove off in the victim's car, police said. The gunman was described as 5 foot 11 to 6 foot with a thin build and no facial hair, black and 20 to 24 years old.

Shortly after the robbery, the victim's phone was sold at a grocery store eco-ATM kiosk, police said.

Detectives were able to recover the cell phone and while doing so obtained video footage from the grocery store of 2 suspects at the eco-ATM Kiosk. Investigators are asking for the public's help in identifying the men. Call Crime Stoppers at 260-436-7867.
