3 held in Ligonier double homicide

Weighing murder and robbery charges, a judge has found probable cause to hold three suspects in Monday's double homicide in Ligonier, Noble County Prosecutor Eric Blackman said Wednesday.

Prosecutors have until Friday morning to file formal charges against Michael Johnson, 35, Tiffani Cox, 30, and Kyra Frost, 25. Johnson faces two murder charges and a count of attempted murder. Cox and Frost are each being held on preliminary charges of aiding in robbery and attempted robbery, Blackman said. The three are from Fort Wayne.

Found dead were Amanda Feldstein, 39 and Justin Adams, who Blackman said was born in 1988. The shooting occurred at Feldstein's apartment; Adams lived elsewhere in Ligonier, Blackman said.

While the robbery charges hint of a motive, Blackman said he will not release details of the crime until formal charges are filed, likely on Friday.
