Four people have been arrested on drug-related charges after a meth lab was located inside a Columbia City home, Indiana State Police said today.
State police at Fort Wayne said they were helping Columbia City police locate a probationer inside a North Walnut Street home Friday afternoon when they found items commonly associated with the making of methamphetamine.
After receiving a search warrant, other items used in meth production were discovered, the statement said.
Police said they arrested Jeremy Todd Guthrie, 43, of Columbia City, and Deborah L. Tait, 46, of Deedsville, Indiana, on charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of two or more precursors, dealing methamphetamine by manufacturing, maintaining a common nuisance and a misdemeanor.
They said they arrested Lynn D. Pressler, 34, of Columbia City, on charges of possession of a Schedule II or III controlled substance, maintaining a common nuisance and a misdemeanor.
In addition, they said a 28-year-old Huntington woman was arrested on two misdemeanor charges.
The suspects were being held in the Whitley County Jail, police said.
