Crews battle vacant house fire

A vacant house fire was quickly stomped out by Fort Wayne firefighters early today, according to a news release.

Crews arrived to 4646 Southpark Drive about 5:30 a.m. and found half of the structure with heavy flames. The blaze also threatened a neighboring home, which sustained minor damage. Firefighters were able to bring the blaze under control in less than 10 minutes.

There were no injuries and the incident is under investigation.
