Jamie Duffy | The Journal Gazette

Two men are charged in the sexual assault of a male while others watched during parties at a mobile home belonging to one of the assailants last summer.

Robert W. Clippinger, 49, of the 10300 block of Old Leo Road was charged Monday with three counts of rape and one count of sexual battery. Court documents said the sexual assaults occurred at his trailer after drinking and drug use. Clippinger is accused of raping the victim multiple times, according to court documents.

He was also urinated upon, court documents said.

Franklin B. Meehan, 18, of the 2900 block of Old Orchard Road was also charged Monday with sexual battery and battery by bodily waste.

Several witnesses were present when the rapes and other abuse took place, but those witnesses have not been charged, according to court documents.

The alleged abuse occurred July 14-16, 2016, court records said.

Clippinger allegedly invited the victim, four other males and two females to a party at his mobile home where they consumed vodka and beer and smoked marijuana brought by one of the guests.

Clippinger oversaw the drinking of shots and showed pornographic videos, court records said.

Videos of some of the abuse were also recorded and wound up in police possession, court documents said. After one alleged rape, the victim was driven to his home and was told about it the next morning.

Neither Clippinger nor Meehan had been arrested as of Tuesday night.

Bond for Clippinger is set at $32,500, and bond for Meehan is set at $3,250.
