Two juveniles have been arrested in the death of a man at Woodbridge Apartments on Sunday night.
Just before 10 p.m., city police responded to the 1900 block of River Run Trail. Officers found a man suffering from gunshot wounds. The man was taken to a local hospital where he was listed in critical condition.
The man died early this morning, said Officer Michael Joyner, Fort Wayne police spokesman.
Police arrested two juveniles on charges of felony murder. Police said robbery appears to be the motive.
Initial information suggests that something led to a disturbance in the parking lot outside a residence on River Run Trail. Chris Felton, city police public information officer, said that disturbance became physical and at least one gunshot was fired.
Officers have found a group of people who may be involved and that group was being interviewed by police, Felton said. He said it's still unclear what, if any, involvement that group may have had.
Anyone with information about the shooting is encouraged to call Fort Wayne police at 427-1222 or Crime Stoppers at 436-7867.
