Home for the holidays
What fuels our yearning for Christmas each year? Memories, of course – the wondrous sight of brightly lit storefronts, the sound of carols in a darkened sanctuary, the delight found in even the smallest of gifts. Whatever your experience, there's likely a recollection that triggers feelings of joy, optimism and peace.
For Christmas, we share scenes of Fort Wayne Christmases past from the collection of the Allen County-Fort Wayne Historical Society, with the hope they might evoke some of your fondest memories of the holiday and the promise it holds.
