Fort Wayne, Ind. – City street department crews will work Saturday to progress work on the large volume of leaves that fell in the past two weeks.

The Fort Wayne-Allen County Department of Health will offer H1N1 vaccine at its Carew Medical Park clinic at the following times next week:

Statement issued Tuesday: The Fort Wayne-Allen County Department of Health announced the schedule of H1N1 vaccine clinics at Carew Medical Park for the remainder of the week: Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2 to 6:30 p.m. (H1N1 injectable vaccine and seasonal flu vaccine for those eligible)Thursday, Nov. 19, 2 to 6:30 p.m. (H1N1 injectable and seasonal flu vaccine for those eligible)

"Indiana pork producers saw the need in the state and they came to us with a plan to provide one million pork meals per yea," said Jane Avery, Community Harvest Food Bank executive director.

"We very much appreciate the hospitals' quick and measured response to the Department's initial request to limit patient exposure to potentially infected young persons visiting the hospitals," says Allen County Health Commissioner Dr. Deborah McMahan.

“Our ability to provide our students with a high-quality education is severely diminished when interruptions like this occur,” said Chancellor Michael Wartell. “Many of our students drive from off campus and out of town to attend classes or participate in study groups.

Statement issued Friday morning: FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Nov. 13). -H1N1 vaccine will be available again on Monday, November 16, and Tuesday, November 17, at the Carew Medical Park Clinic.

"Sergeant Shaw, an 11 year veteran of the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department, was on duty and conducting routine patrol at the time of the crash. He is survived by his wife Angela, their son Nicholas, 9, and their daughter Isabella, 7."

At a celebration dinner in Indianapolis on Nov. 21, Dr. Robinson will receive the Joseph E. Hill Superintendent of the Year Award, which is given to a superintendent who has demonstrated a quality of leadership that resulted in significant positive outcomes for students of African descent.

"These gifts touch women every day, not just in Indiana, but all over the world," said D. Craig Brater, dean of the IU School of Medicine.
