The fabric was gorgeous. My mom had spotted it in an out-of-town fabric store, but I needed more. And wouldn’t you know it, a clerk said she couldn’t get more.

As much as I love visual art, it has never been my forte.
As soon as I wrote my post yesterday, another weekend event hit my desk.

This week we have a baby blanket Joyce made a couple years ago, a braided fabric cord made by Rhea and a sneak at Sunday's Math4Knitters podcast.

I'm not crazy about sewing on buttons, either. Frankly, there are times that an otherwise complete garment languishes for months in my linen closet, because it has no buttons.
I HATE darning in ends. There, I said it. I still have to do it, though.

St. Patrick’s Day is March 17, and it got me thinking. I don’t really have a lot of green to wear in honor of the holiday, but I can buy green beads.
