Search Indiana skies
Of the 1,260 facilities in Indiana with permits for emitting pollutants into the air, nearly one in every six have violated that permit at least once in the last three years. Now, you can search for permitted facilities by name or city and see how many times it has been visited by inspectors in the last three years; how many quarters, if any, that it has been out of compliance with the Clean Air Act; and how many enforcement actions state and federal regulators have taken against them. All data is from the EPA's ECHO database of compliance and enforcement history.
