Military veterans and active duty individuals will be recognized at the TinCaps game against Bowling Green on Monday during Military Appreciation Day at Parkview Field.

Four TinCaps earned spots on the Midwest League All-Star team. The game is June 22 at Parkview Field.

The TinCaps had as many hits with runners in scoring position Sunday (seven) as they did the previous five games of the homestand. The clutch hitting led to an 8-3 win over Beloit.

Right-handed pitcher Dexter Carter and outfielder Rymer Liriano were sent to San Diego's extended spring training in Peoria, Ariz. Infielder/outfielder Joe Agreste was added to the TinCaps roster from extended spring training.

The Midwest League All-Star game takes place June 22 at Parkview Field. The teams for the game should be announced by Tuesday (likely sooner).

Griffin Benedict did not bat the first time through Fort Wayne's lineup, although he was listed as sixth in the team's batting order.
