Adaptive Sports selects Turnstone

Adaptive Sports USA announced Thursday that it will be playing host to the Adaptive Sports USA 2018 Junior Nationals in conjunction with the Turnstone Center from July 21-28.

This event is the largest longstanding annual multi-sport event for youth with a physical disability or visual impairment in the United States. Junior Nationals has traveled to a different host city annually since its inception in 1984.

The weeklong national sport championship is open to young athletes through the age of 22 and includes educational clinics, socials and competition in archery, powerlifting, swimming, track and field, and more.

“Fort Wayne is centrally located and provides easy access from most anywhere in the United States,” Turnstone CEO Mike Mushett said in a news release.
