Outlook: The Irish have lost seven games in a row after a 3-0 start in the ACC. That includes a 76-58 loss to North Carolina State in their most recent outing. In that game, Notre Dame fell behind by as many as 30 in the second half and shot just 39 percent. ... Notre Dame got guard Matt Farrell back from an ankle injury against the Wolfpack after the guard had missed previous two games. Farrell scored 16 points on 5-for-13 shooting. ... The Irish are still without freshman guard D.J. Harvey (knee) and senior big man Bonzie Colson (foot). ... Notre Dame is 1-7 since Colson's injury Jan. 3 against N.C. State. ... T.J. Gibbs, who is tied with Farrell as Notre Dame's top scorer (other than Colson) at 15.7 points per game, has shot below 50 percent in eight straight games and below 40 percent six times in that stretch. ... Notre Dame outrebounded seven of its first eight opponents in the ACC but has been outrebounded twice in a row, including 38-26 by an N.C. State team it beat on the boards 41-30 when the teams first met in January. ... The Irish's seven consecutive losses match the longest streak during Mike Brey's 18 years as the team's head coach. ... Boston College snapped a three-game losing streak with an 80-72 home win over Georgia Tech on Sunday. Guard Jerome Robinson led the Eagles with 19 points in the game. ... Robinson a 6-foot-6 junior, leads Boston College with 19.0 points per game, the third-best scoring average in the ACC. He scored 32 points on just 16 shots in an overtime loss to Virginia Tech last week. ... Ky Bowman, a 6-foot-1 sophomore guard, is the team's second-leading scorer at 16.8 points per game and also averages 7.0 rebounds and 5.0 assists. ... Up next, the Irish take on Florida State (17-6, 6-5) at Purcell Pavilion at 4 p.m. Saturday.
