Outlook: The Mastodons fell 86-69 to South Dakota on Thursday. It was the first contest in which IPFW didn't lead at some point as the Coyotes opened the game on an 11-0 run. ... Bryson Scott scored 23 points and John Konchar had 18 points and 12 rebounds in the loss. ... Scott eclipsed the 600-point mark for the season, the seventh player to hit the mark. His 618 points is the fifth-best single-season scoring total in program history. ... Konchar is the only active Division I player with 1,200 career points, 800 rebounds, 300 assists and 200 steals. His 820 rebounds ranks second in program history trailing the 965 pulled down by Sean Gibson (1989-93). ... IPFW defeated Omaha 82-78 at Memorial Coliseum In the teams' last meeting. Scott scored 26 in that contest. Zach Jackson led the Mavericks with 21 points. ... Omaha is coming off a 71-68 win over Western Illinois, sweeping the season series. Jackson had 25 points. ... The Mastodons lead the all-time series with Omaha 11-3, including a game-winning buzzer-beater by Konchar in Omaha last season. ...
