Lamar Carswell scored four touchdowns for the second game in a row as Trine improved to 2-0 with a 34-13 win over Bluffton on Saturday in Angola.

Carswell, who broke Trine's all-time records in points scored and touchdowns scored in last week's season opener against Manchester, caught an 8-yard pass from quarterback Andrew Duckett midway through the first quarter. He finished the game with 157 of Trine's 229 rushing yards. Bluffton's Adam Duncan caught a 70-yard touchdown pass.

ALMA 39, MANCHESTER 33: In Alma, Michigan, Manchester (0-2) and Alma (1-1) traded the lead four times in the fourth quarter, but it was Alma that got the final say with a 6-yard touchdown run from Mason Ippel.

The Spartans outgained the Scots, 457 yards to 342, but Alma put together an early 14-0 lead when Max Kretzschmar returned a 74-yard pick for a score.
