Carroll earns volleyball victory

The Carroll volleyball team defeated Blackhawk Christian 3-0 (27-25, 25-20, 25-9) at home on Tuesday.

Jordan Martin led the hosts with 12 kills, Taya Haffner had 34 assists and Ellee Ruskaup had 12 digs and four aces.

CONCORDIA 3, WAYNE 0: At Concordia, Paige Patterson had 14 digs and four aces, while Chasity Craig led the Cadets with six in a 25-7, 25-9, 25-6 win.

WEST NOBLE 3, EASTSIDE 0: At West Noble, Madison Schermerhorn had 12 kills, seven aces and seven assists for the Chargers, Kristina Teel had 33 assists and Lauren Burns led the team with 16 digs.

HUNTINGTON NORTH 3, NEW HAVEN 0: Kaitlyn Stephan led the Vikings with 31 assists and 10 digs, while Macy Niswander had 13 kills and Kalee Platt had six aces.

BELLMONT 3, NORWELL 0: Audrey Blackmore led the Braves with nine kills, Rylie Houser had 29 assists and Rachel McBride added eight digs and four aces.

GOSHEN 3, CANTERBURY 2: Jenna Filus had 12 kills for the Cavaliers, while Nicole Hanning-Bean had eight blocks and Sydney Hearn added 22 assists.

Boys soccer

WEST NOBLE 4, WESTVIEW 0: At Westview, the Chargers got goals from Fernando Romo, Arturo Macias, Antonia Gallegos and Ricky Flores.

Girls soccer

WAYNE 4, SOUTH SIDE 0: At Wayne, Arianna Bradshaw had a hat trick for the Generals and April Salazar added a goal and an assist.

DEKALB 1, WESTVIEW 1: Rebekah Forti scored early in the first half for the Barons but the Warriors equalized with a goal from Makayla Yoder late in the second half.

Boys tennis

CARROLL 3, DELTA 2: At Indiana Wesleyan, the Chargers swept singles, with Ethan Radke defeating Jason Wegener 6-3, 3-6, 6-0 at No. 1, Luke Stoffel winning 6-1, 6-0 over Ben Bamidele at No. 2 and Kyle Hoerr defeating Tanner Southerland 6-0, 6-0 at No. 3.
