5 Games to Watch

Bishop Dwenger (3-0) at Homestead (2-1): The lone undefeated team in the SAC and the state's top-ranked 4A team in the AP media poll, Bishop Dwenger will likely face its toughest test yet from Homestead, which mounted a huge comeback in Week 2 against Concordia but couldn't repeat the effort against Bishop Luers last week.

Bishop Luers (2-1) at Concordia (1-2): Bishop Luers is fighting to be considered among the top teams in the SAC, and the Knights made a strong point by holding off a Homestead rally to win 38-36 last week. But the Cadets, who outscored opponents 62-3 in the first 70 minutes of the season, needs to get back on track after losses to Homestead and Snider.

Leo (2-1) at New Haven (1-2): After a messy, 6-0 win over Woodlan in the season opener and a 26-0 drubbing by Angola in Week 2, the Lions got back on their feet with a win over Norwell in Week 2. The No. 16 team in 4A, according to the AP media poll, will take on a New Haven team that got its first win last week over DeKalb.

Jay County (2-1) at Adams Central (3-0): The Flying Jets are the third-ranked team in Class A according to this week's coaches poll, and the last time they played a local team, they outscored Eastside 35-9. The visiting Patriots are 2-1, and after scoring 51 points in last week's win they will look to keep up with the Jets' offense.

West Noble (3-0) at Angola (3-0): It's the defending sectional champs against the Chargers, who have started the season 3-0 for the first time in coach Monte Mawhorter's 20-season tenure at West Noble.
