Last year: Joey Logano won in Phoenix, but Jimmie Johnson rallied from starting 14th to win the championship the following week.

Last race: Kevin Harvick won in Texas for the first time.

Fast facts: Harvick clinched a shot for the title in Miami on Nov. 19. But so did series leader Martin Truex Jr., who led 107 laps last week before being passed by Harvick.
