Verbatim: State representatives respond to loss of Fort Wayne officer

The following was released on Thurs. Sept. 13, 2015 by the Indiana House of Representatives Republican Caucus:  

STATEHOUSE (Sept. 13, 2018) — “I offer my condolences to Officer Tinsley's family. For 16 years, Officer Tinsley served Fort Wayne's residents and made our city a safer place. He will be missed not only by his family, but also by his brothers in blue. I ask the community to wrap their collective arms around all of these individuals during their time of grief,” Carbaugh said.

“I was saddened to hear the news of Officer Tinsley's passing. As a community, we need to support his family and the Fort Wayne Police Department. I ask everyone to please take the time to honor Officer Tinsley's commitment to our city,” Heine said.

“My prayers go out to Officer Tinsley's family and the entire Fort Wayne police force. I encourage all those from the Summit City to support his family in this very difficult time. Since 2002, Officer Tinsley dedicated his life to serving our city and his dedication will be long remembered,” Morris said.
