Fort Wayne police detectives have made an arrest in connection with a shooting late Thursday that left three people dead and two critically injured in the 6100 block of Downingtown Drive.

Officers arrested Kameron Joyner, 22, without incident after a traffic stop near the intersection of Rudisill Boulevard and Clinton Streets early today, according to a statement from the Fort Wayne Police Department. Joyner is preliminarily charged with five counts of aggravated battery.

Detectives also have determined that Gerald Pinkston, 22, was involved in the incident, which they describe as a home invasion, the release states. Anyone knowing Pinkston's whereabouts is asked to call 911 to report the information.

Pinkston is described as 5 feet, 7 inches tall, 145 pounds, black, with black hair and brown eyes. He should be considered armed and dangerous, according to the statement.
