Two Lima, Ohio, residents were flown to Parkview Regional Medical Center on Saturday night after a crash near Pokagon State Park.

Nicholas Sanner, 31, and his passenger Ronald Sanner, 55, were driving west on Indiana 727 when the car went off the road at Lane 100 Lake James at the entrance to Pokagon State Park and hit a tree, the Steuben County Sheriff's Department said.

The sheriff's department said both men were pinned inside the car before they were extricated and flown by Samaritan helicopter to Fort Wayne for treatment.

Both men were wearing their seat belts at the time of the crash, which remains under investigation.
