Morning stabbing leaves 1 hurt

A stabbing victim originally thought to be in critical condition has been upgraded, Fort Wayne police said.

Officers responded to a home in the 2700 block of Sterling Street at 1:06 a.m. today and found a man outside suffering from apparent stab wounds, according to a news release.

The victim was taken to a local hospital.

Police believe some sort of altercation happened, but have no suspects or more details about the attack.
