  • Michelle Davies | The Journal Gazette Jared, a comfort dog at Concordia Lutheran High School, gets some attention from students, from left, senior Bo Bearman, junior Priscah Norwood, sophomore Madeline Vnuk and senior Micah Hockemeyer after a special installation service for the canine Wednesday morning. Jared, trained by Lutheran Church Charities, has already interacted with students under the care of physical education teacher Pam Rusher and is also trained to help people at churches, schools, nursing homes, hospitals and in disaster-response situations.
