Chance of thunderstorms: LaGrange, Steuben, Williams

The Journal Gazette

There's a chance of thunderstorms late tonight in LaGrange and Steuben counties in Indiana and in Williams County, Ohio, mainly along and north of the Indiana Toll Road, the National Weather Service said.

Overall chances for severe weather are very low, although some gusty winds cannot be fully ruled out, the weather service said. It said thunderstorms are possible at times from Wednesday into early Thursday, but severe weather is not expected at this time.

An area of west-central Ohio including Mercer County is expected to be unseasonably hot today, with afternoon heat indices reaching the low to mid 90s, the weather service said. It said similar indices are expected there Wednesday afternoon.
