The National Weather Service has issued a high-wind watch for northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio from Wednesday morning through Wednesday evening.
Southwest winds of 25 to 35 mph, with gusts up to 60 mph, are possible, the weather service said. It said damaging winds could blow down trees and power lines, and power outages are possible.
Travel could be difficult, especially for high-profile vehicles on north-south roads, the weather service said. It said loose objects should be fastened or sheltered in a safe location before the winds begin.
