Heavy rain and flooding are possible this weekend in northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio, the National Weather Service said.
It said rain will begin Thursday afternoon and continue through Saturday evening, when the precipitation may change to snow and taper off.
Rain will become moderate to heavy at times, particularly Friday night and early Saturday, the weather service said. It said totals look to be around 2 to 4 inches, with locally higher amounts possible.
Flooding is possible, and people living in flood-prone areas should closely monitor forecasts this week, the weather service said.
