DeKalb reports 40 novel coronavirus cases in 4 days

The Journal Gazette

The DeKalb County Health Department said today it has confirmed 40 new cases of COVID-19 in county residents during the last four days.

This brings the total number of positive cases in the county to 701, with 16 deaths, the health department said in a statement.

Twenty of the patients are recovering at home and two are hospitalized, the statement said. It said no further information was available about the other 18 patients.
