Oladipo announces fantasy basketball experience

DYLAN SINN | The Journal Gazette

Former Hoosier and current Indiana Pacer Victor Oladipo has partnered with Indiana basketball to create the Basketball Fantasy Experience, a charitable event that gives fans the chance to experience three days in the life of an Indiana basketball player or coach.

The inaugural event will take place Aug. 23-25 at Assembly Hall in Bloomington and at the IU practice facilities. Attendees will have the option to go through the experience as a player or as a coach. Oladipo will be joined by Archie Miller and Indiana assistant coaches Tom Ostrom, Bruiser Flint and Ed Schilling. Those wishing to participate in the player experience must be at least 30 years old and those doing the coaching experience must be at least 21.

The event costs $3,995 or $5,995 for a "Captain's Club Upgrade" which includes an extra day on campus and a Q&A with Oladipo, among other perks. The upgrade is only open to 15 people.
