Dwanya Williams-Sutton had his third straight multi-hit game and Omar Cruz pitched 5 1/3 shutout innings, but all-star reliever Henry Henry couldn't hold a two-run lead and the TinCaps lost 4-2 on Friday to the Bowling Green Hot Rods at Bowling Green Ballpark, completing a sweep for the Eastern Division-leading Hot Rods.
Bowling Green (61-42, 22-11 second half) took the lead for good in the sixth, pushing across three runs to erase a 2-0 deficit.
