The Orchard Team Store at Parkview Field, where the TinCaps sell team merchandise, is re-opening permanently, the TinCaps announced today. The store has been closed since March because of the coronavirus pandemic with only limited pop-up hours for special events, but is open five days a week as of today. The store will also be open most Saturdays during Fort Wayne's Farmer's Market at Parkview Field.
“We’re glad to be able to give our fans a bit more normalcy as we approach the Thanksgiving and Christmas season,” TinCaps president Mike Nutter said in a statement. “We hope fans take advantage of the awesome items we have available as well as our sales.”
To celebrate reopening, the team is offering a special Election Day discount: 10% off in-store purchases for those who have proof they voted (such as an "I voted" sticker). The store will be open from 2-7 p.m. On Veterans Day, all active military members and veterans, as well as their families, will be eligible for 20% off in-store shopping.
The team will announce other promotions, including sales on Black Friday and Cyber Monday, at a later time.
