TOLEDO — I may have picked the Komets to win this series in six games but it was predicted on the idea they could steal one of the first two games here at the Huntington Center.
They say in hockey nothing matters until a team loses on home ice, but this isn’t your typical rivalry. Both these teams feed off momentum. The Komets cannot allow the Toledo Walleye to win the first two games. That’s mostly because I don’t see Fort Wayne stealing a Game 5 or 7 in Toledo.
One other thing, I watched a good bit of the series between Toledo and Indy and it was amazing how few scoring opportunities the Fuel got. The Komets have to test Pat Nagle often.
