No further discipline for Komets' Boudens

JUSTIN A. COHN | The Journal Gazette

The ECHL reviewed the match penalty that the Komets' Matthew Boudens received Saturday and there will be no further discipline. Boudens received a match penalty in the aftermath of a fight in the 5-2 victory over Kalamazoo. The referee apparently thought Boudens had hit Dylan Sadowy with his helmet. In actuality, his chinstrap had gotten tangled on Boudens' hand when he threw a punch. Anyway, Boudens, who scored two goals, is eligible to play Friday against the Wheeling Nailers.
