ECHL Midseason Meetings Update

JUSTIN A. COHN | The Journal Gazette

The ECHL enacted two rules changes at its midseason meetings in Wichita, Kansas, opting to now make goaltender interference eligible to be reviewed on video replay of goals. Also, the maximum roster size for the playoffs has been increased by one to 24 players (20 active and four reserves).

Additionally, plans were unveiled Monday in Richmond, Virginia, to bring an ECHL team to town for 2023-24, assuming an arena project is approved by the City Council.
