Walt Lemon Jr. had 21 points. Stephan Hicks did, too.
But the Mad Ants lost 112-111 in overtime to the Canton Charge, in front of an announced crowd of 3,351 at the Canton Memorial Civic Center in Canton, Ohio, on Saturday night.
It was only the Mad Ants’ second loss in their last eight games.
Ike Nwamu had 18 points for the Mad Ants (9-12).
C.J. Wilcox added 16 and Ben Moore had 12.
Canton (14-7) was paced by Sheldon Mac’s 37 points, including 25 in the first half, after which it was tied at 43.
J.P. Macura added 23 points for the Charge.
Down by one in overtime, Wilcox missed a 3-pointer. Hicks got the rebound and appeared to be fouled, but it was ruled a jump ball by the officials. The Mad Ants won that but failed to get a shot off to win it.
The Mad Ants played without Naz Mitrou-Long (ankle), Brian Bowen II (undisclosed injury) and Hasheem Thabeet.
Fort Wayne plays host to Wisconsin at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Memorial Coliseum.
