ALLENDALE, Mich. – The Indiana Tech women’s cross country team finished fourth place at the WHAC Championships on Saturday at Allendale High School.
Kara Kline led the way with a personal-best 18:52.6 to finish in 13th and garner Second-Team All-Conference honors. Her time is the fourth-fastest all-time for a sophomore in program history. Megan Theismann checked in at 19:17.5 while Nikki Wilson was 21st with a personal-best time of 19:20.3.
Hayley Newman took 23rd with a personal-best time of 19:23.5 while Alexis Lombardo also set a personal-best with a time of 19:37.2 to finish in 29th. Angie Sanchez and Krista Boese rounded out Tech’s lineup with career-best times of 19:51.5 and 20:05.9 to finish in 35th and 41st, respectively.
The Warriors will now wait to see if they will receive an at-large berth to the NAIA National Championships. The official list of qualifiers will be announced Nov. 12.
