LIMA, Ohio – The Indiana Tech women’s volleyball team defeated the University of Northwestern Ohio in five sets, (25-19, 18-25, 21-25, 25-15, 15-12) in the quarterfinals of the WHAC Tournament on Wednesday inside Racer Gymnasium.
Jordan Aylward and Olivia Niekamp both had a team-high 14 kills with the latter hitting .583 and adding four blocks. Emma Westra had a career-high 13 kills while Madison Park dished out 32 assists. Madeline MacDonald recorded 22 digs and two service aces while Genna Karborwski had 23 assists.
Tech (26-9) now advances to the WHAC Tournament semifinals where they will play top-seeded and No. 20th-ranked Lawrence Tech at 7:30 p.m. Friday from Don Ridler Field House.
