Bellmont scored all four of its runs in the third inning en route to a 4-2 win over visiting Yorktown in a Class 3A softball regional Tuesday.
The No. 3 Braves (24-1) will play Knox (20-2) at 11 a.m. Saturday in the semifinals of the Twin Lakes Semistate.
Bellmont, which won its second straight regional title, trailed 1-0 in the second before scoring the four runs, while the Tigers added a run in the fifth.
Rachel McBride knocked in two runs, while Macy Montgomery allowed five hits, two runs and struck out eight. She also had five walks.
FAIRFIELD 3, BISHOP DWENGER 2: The visiting Saints fell behind 3-0 when the Falcons scored a run in the third and two more in the fourth before rallying with two runs in the sixth. The SAC champions finished the season 21-8.
Fairfield faces South Bend St. Joseph at 1 p.m. Saturday in the semifinals of the Twin Lakes Semistate.
WHITKO 3, WESTERN BOONE 2: The No. 3 Wildcats beat the visiting Stars for their second straight regional championship. Madi Smith led the way with a two-run home run.
Whitko (21-7) will face Tipton at 1 p.m. Saturday in the semifinals of the LaVille Semistate.
FREMONT 2, SOUTH CENTRAL 0: The No. 9 Eagles blanked the host Satellites for their first-ever regional championship. Autumn Godwin knocked in both runs with a two-run homer.
Fremont (26-5) will play in the semifinals of the Frankfort Semistate and play Pioneer at 1 p.m. Saturday.
